Hi guys, long time no see

I finally decided on building (yet again) a retro system. But there is one problem - I am currently living in Germany and my 3dfx collection is back home on Balkans, so I am out of graphics. To make my luck worse, there is currently no serious 3dfx offers on ebay (DE,UK,NL,BE,FR,AT,CH,PL) so I wanted to ask if any of you may be willing to part with a V3/4/5?

Since I already own V1, V2's, V3 2000 and V5 5500 AGP at home I would be most interested in buying a V3 3500 TV, but for this machine a V5 5500 or V4 4500 would also do nicely. I would also prefer AGP, since my budget is limited, but PCI versions are welcome too.

Anyone?

And I almost bidded for the 3500 BOX! I was so happy when i saw a V3 3500, but as I saw that its only a box I fell into despair Cry

You almost got me there...

Anyway - you are mostly offering the things I have... Or V4. V4 is my finaly resort - I will buy it only if I absolutely cant find a 3500 or 5500. I'll wait a few days and see if any offer comes out. If not, I'll get a V4.

Thanks for the offer! But as I said, I'll see if a v5 5500 or v3 3500 comes out first - if not, then we can speak about V4! And i did say I prefer the AGP version, since its a bit cheaper (more adequate to student's pocket).

Nevertheless, for the sake of argument - how much do you think would be fair for your V4 PCI?

Sorry I forgot to add the news - I already got myself a V5 5500 AGP from Forum de Luxx. I havent tried it yet since I need some more components for the system to work, but I hope it does. If in any case it doesn't work - I'll write you again. Thanks for the offer!

As for the price - I got this one for 35e shipping included.

Last time I bought something overseas it took it more then 4 months to come here and I had to pay about +30% of the value of the package as toll fee... Good thing is, that I got refunded by the company, since that was a Christmas present and it got here in march. Undecided

Then its more then ok! But, hold the thought for the moment! The return of the stock BIOS of my V5 seems to have waken it up. I'll be installing Win98 now with UT 2000 - and then we shall see if it works. If it definitely doesnt work then I'll write here again. Thanks a lot btw!
