you think that is big?? I still have a Quantum Bigfoot 12,7GB drive here somewhere, those are huge.
They are as big as a dvd-drive and pretty noisy as well.

But nice to see such an old drive, still working even.

I had a few my self but lost them when I moved from Dallas. I had a 1.2gb version working and two or three others if various sizes.

Quantum Bigfoot - memories...I had two of those, one real big in size 6.4 GB, the other was 2.1 GB....I still have a picture with both, but I can't find it on the HDD Sad

There are some strange drives out there but to me impressive were the IBM Mainframe drives from the 70s and 80s looked like a small car engine.

In one of my classes we got a dead IBM winchester drive and a few others but yea 14 inch platters are a sight to behold.
