Is it possible to make two Obsidian2 X-24 to work together? Kind of like an Aalchemy board?

nvm

No, you cannot have two X24's work in SLI.

also sync-lock is for multimonitor, not SLI

That's bad. It would be a deam card!:)
What about AA? Does Voodoo2 chip support AA? I've heard that Aalchemy cards has it. But somebody told me that it works because of an extra chip that Quantum3D put on their boards. Is it?

yes Quantum3D use four or eight chipsets to get FSAA

a single Voodoo2 can run edge detect AA with some dirvers
but its not as good as FSAA

Will that Quantum3D work on Win98? And how much it could cost? I guess this is what I really want! After playing on Voodoo5 with FSAA, regular Voodoo2 looks poor. But a lot of games doesn't work on V5, and I need V2 for them.
What was the name on that Quantum?

What you are looking for is called a Quantum3D Obsidian2 200SBi 'Brick', which is made up of four Obsidian2 200SBi cards.

Prices are usually several hundreds of US Dollars, sometimes even more than a thousand.

You can find a lot of info on Gary's site; http://www.thedodgegarage.com/3dfx/
More specific; the pages about the Mercury system

Gary did a good job making this site :)
you said it takes 4 chips to make a FSAA, but there are only two on 200SBi. Does it mean I will need two of 200SBi? $700x2=$1400 min?:)

No, I said it takes 4 cards. Each card has two Voodoo2 chipsets on it.

And the price I mentioned is for the entire brick; 4x Obsidian2 200SBi + neccessary accessories.

Brick requires NT4, I have run it under Windows 2000 pro but the control panel doesn't show up.
