Although people always act outraged at the price I think that, with the rarity value, $600 is a reasonable place to start.  Especially since he says the card is working.  The ones on eBay rarely have that guarantee.

If I had any darn money I'd snap it up myself.  Sure it's dated hardware now but, even as an unfinished work, it's still the pinnacle product from my favourite graphics chip company.  ;D

You're right, patience, he won't ship it overseas!

I hate it when that happens.  On eBay a lot of the US sellers seem to think there's no world beyond their shores.  And, when you email them to ask if they'd consider shipping overseas, they act surprised and quickly agree that they will!  It's like it never occurs to them that anyone else exists or something.  >:(

I don't think that Mildil would change his mind though, from what he's written.  :(

Yes, that is especially bad with a V5-6000, because that way, one never gets such an offer anywhere in Europe :-/

Looks like really all existing Cards are mostly in the US, and likely won't be distributed anywhere else in the forseeable future :(

All I can say is that, in my experience, if you email a US eBay seller and ask, they frequently will ship overseas after all.

It pays to ask.

There are perhaps fifty or so Voodoo5 6000s out there at the moment.  In a while there will only be the working versions left.  And, although I think it should be otherwise, everyone's obsession with the "latest and the greatest" will mean that the price will fall.

You may get your Voodoo5 6000 yet, patience.  Just live up to your name.  ;)
