The card uses 3dfx voodoo3 chip and flash to mx200 bios to win the market.It is a good card to collect,only in china you can find it. Do not hesitate to take it

can you take the cooler of to show the v3 chip??

V3 only uses agp 2x and this card has agp 4x, so I would really like to see the chip under there.

the v3 chip on some cards is polished to geforce mx200 chip, you could not see any 3dfx logo on the chip. it seems like a real mx200 chip,but you can check it in some special software,like everest and so on.

This ugly one is really a fake MX200 with a rubbed Voodoo3 chip,no doubt about it,magzine Micro Computer here had confirmed it,and there are 2 other,one is red,and the other one is black,they are similar with each other in the appearance,of course they are all pretend to be the Geforce2 MX. ;)

thanks voodooban_cn. you are absolutely right.

Because the fan is glued hard on the chip i can not take it off from the board.

It is a fake mx200, if you trust me,that it is. if not,leave it. it is all right.

It is quite hard to find the right motherboard to test it. But i am sure it has v3 chip on board indeed.I tested before

I have seen everest give some strange readings before on other hardware as well, my advice would be not to blindly trust Everest for this kind of stuff.

but how can you be 100% sure?

you say it looks like an mx200 chip, and everest reads it as voodoo3. that's not 100% sure.
and because someone else said so......if he uses the same program......

maybe if you could take a picture of the chip itself.....then it might be more believable.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you're not telling the truth, I just think you put a lot of faith in 1 program.
