Well it' belongs to the V6K even 3dfx would have slabbed a V6K + VV within the official box, since it's a part that belongs to it, okay that you find it messy does not conclude that it should not be there Roll Eyes

It does not mean that most of the V6K people would have to agree to that right Smiley

I made the box how I would like it.  Just like you said Tim, I don't really care if everyone approves.  It works for me, so that's what counts.

The wires are all nicely tied up, hardly messy.  And as far as whether or not to include the VV....  You seriously must have been joking.  The VV is a part of the v6k legacy.

That's the words of a V6K professional and I adore that, because it's just a fact , thanks razrx for telling that VV is a part that belongs to the V6K.

Same as with a car, the Engine belongs to the car, because it needs it to power it's self forward and so on, so it is shipped with the package like it or not. Grin

Yeas it surly is mate, the V6K is a true master piece of hardware as art and the VV is certainly a part of this cool item.

This how I presented my V6K when I had him Smiley

I never ever said it's not part of the V56K, what are you on about.

I merely complimented him on a nice design.

I can not see how anyone can take offense to that post of mine seriously. Like I can't have my own opinion. I don't understand what part of "if it was ME, I would have left it out of the case", I didn't say I wouldn't have it in something else, or not include it in the collection or anything like that. Just said I would perhaps think of a sleeker way to include it.

You make a mountain out of a molehill of pretty much everything.

I am not taking offiense it's just  a part of the V6K and it seems that you are trying to make us think it shouldn't be in there that is how some of us read your posts.

Tto keep this topic on topic for what it is:

@ Tim: My intent was to recreate the plastic insert in the VOODOO5 Series but make it so that it fits inside a V5 retail box too.

My thoughts were to house a v6k and all the accessories in a clear case.

It seems to be that your thoughts on putting a v6k inside an acrylic box would be just for the card.  Correct?

anyways, this is a picture thread so let's get some more pictures up!

I didn't realise you actually wanted to make a box to fit into your retail box you made.

I thought you were going to hang it on the wall or something.

I was actually going to give some constructive criticism before people jumped down my throat!

I thought, maybe you can make an extra compartment, right next to it, with the adaptor placed vertically, I think it's a great idea, but in my humble opinion, it would look even better if the card would hover right in the center of the box, and to the right, you would have the Voodoo Volts vertically mounted in its own compartment. I thought that would look nice.

Never meant to criticise or anything like that, I like it a lot!

Take note Gold Leader, that's the last thing I will say to you, you really need to check yourself sometimes.

To prevent this thread to go off-topic even further, I will post some 3dfx pics of my Voodoo Volts.
