Well I finally got a 500 watt power supply, slapped it in my computer along with my 6800gt. It booted up, went to dxdiag, passed dx7 and dx 8, but locks up on dx 9. What the hell is going on here.

My specs are 640 mb pc 133 ram
1ghz pentium 3 133mhz fsb
via appollo 266pro - something or other motherboard

I also tried it in my 2ghz pentium 4 socket 487 system with a 4x universal slot and the card refused to post. But posts in the other computer.

Did I kill my card by using a 250watt power supply beforehand, when it used to play at least unreal tournement?Was my card dysfunctional to begin with and just cooperated somehow?

Wasn't that your friend's dead vga?

I tested it on my friend's computer and it works fine, I guess i have a mobo problem.
