I'm just thinking of using this on one of my Win95 platforms, but I've got trouble finding an old Disk imaging program that will work with Win95. Does anyone have a good idea what to use? Maybe an old version of Norton Ghost?

Older versions of CloneCD don't work? For floppy disks you could give WinImage a go.

Cloning of harddrives: get the DOS version of Ghost (version 8 for example) or use Linux and try out 'dd' command.

I recently found a freeware tool called LC ISO Creator. Very small, one executable and it can make ISO's quickly.

Sorry guys, I ment to say Harddisk Imaging software, not CD cloning, to quickly put an image back for benchmarking.

Isn't Ghost 8.0 from like 2003? DOS/Win95 was still supported in that?

I have a version, although you have to buy it, that works fine on DOS :). In case you want to do it for free just use Linux (either install it, LiveCD or install the harddrive into a Linux system and prepare/write the image) and the 'dd' command.

I would recommend Hiren's Boot CD.  It is a bootable disc that has a ton of awesome tools.  It has a version of Ghost that will back up whatever you have regardless of the OS.  (it is nice because you don't do anything in Windows, it's done at boot)

That's what I use too.. I have several versions. This one I got free with a motherboard way back when..

Image burn rocks, all I use now.

Small footprint, fast as hell and no coasters.
