You would think but compared to other V3 cards, the PCB is VERY different. First thing I did was compare it close to a 3000, not much was the same except for some very general stuff.

Yes I researched all the compaq's that came with this card and found one for sale and purchased the whole darn computer.

Yes, this is the pcb of a "special" 3500.
In fact this card uses the pcb of a prototype that Compaq ordered for them by 3dfx, with a Digital Flat Panel connector in place of the usual TV tuner.
But never Compaq put this card into production.
Only the lite Oem version is stayed.

I noticed the extra spot on the PCB for the connector, thanks for reminding me what it was for.

This card was from a 5900Z Compaq
