In my BIOS screen, there is something called Extended Configuration but itis greyed out and unaccessable; what is it and what does it do or enable and how can I use it, if need be?

What motherboard? Might be just something reserved for the high end version of your board, ie. voltages/clockspeeds etc.

My motherboard is an Intel D845HV.
