Title: Banshee question
Post by jandarsun8 on 22.01.04 at 16:27:14
I've got a Diamond Monster Banshee 16 meg card and it works. The tools come up for it and everything, BUT it's locked at 640X480 for some reason. I can't change the resolution on the thing. It's a old Win 98 machine. I tried a couple of different drivers off of here, then looked at VoodooFiles and tried one or two of those, but still same thing. Any suggestions?

Raziel64, Banshee Wizard!  ;)
Is there anything you don't know about the Banshee??  ;D

I suppose you've got your fair amount of testing out of it, with all the info you have given us on what the Glide64 app can do.

Thanks, was really starting to wonder why everyone was still using this card if it was stuck at that res.

ok, couple of questions regarding these drivers. Do I have to install the Glide drivers from Kool's site as well, or just the ones from the Banshee site? It's not that big of a deal if I have to, just wondering if I need to or should, that's all. The other question I have is what's the max res. this card does and at what colors. This is only so I have an idea of what I'm looking for if I set it to 1024x768 and it only does it in 8 colors and you guys say that it should do be able to do the colors at 32 mill. Then I know somethings messed up. Know what I mean?  Thanks guys for the help on this.
