I forgot I had UT99.   I just installed it and patched to V4.36.  The only way to get it to work is to use the wickedGL mini driver.  If you don't already have the latest WickedGL switcher utility installed, download it from Falconfly.de and install it.  Once it's installed, you'll need to modify the wglgames.cfg file located in \Program Files\Metabyte\WickedGL by adding the following lines:

"Unreal",unreal.exe,opengl32.dll
"Unreal Tournament",UnrealTournament.exe,opengl32.dll

IMPORTANT: you will need to delete two of the other entries because the switcher will crash when you try to run it.  It's a max line limit of some sort.  Once that is all squared away, run the WickedGL installer and select UT from the list.  Then select the \system folder in the Unreal Tournament install directory.  Click install hi-res version and you should be good to go.

Switch the renderer to OpenGL in the UT preferences and then frag away.  I tested with the training mode and it looks to be good.
