I have just finished re-installing my seedbox with  fully patched-up install of Win NT4 SP-6a.

Runing XP on this machine (yup, I'm using it for this post...) was painful with only 128MB RAM (chipset limitation).

Anyhow, I'm a newbie with NT4 and I have some questions...

1) How do you set Firefox 2 so it will "auto stop" hung scripts?
(actually, I'd like to know that about Firefox 3 too...)

2) I have a network share folder enabled in NT4 - but my XP machines can't see it. Is this to do with permissions, and if so - how do I fix it?

3) How do you disable anonymous logon?
    Are there other precautions I should take?
(already passworded the Admin. account and disabled Guest)

4) How do you turn off that annoying "service control manager" error messages?
(had to disable onboard sound as it's a resource HOG!)

5) Which versions of Quicktime and Adobe reader work with NT4?

6) Why does "empty recycle bin" occasionally gray itself out?

7) Can the un-removable Internet Explorer icon on the desktop be fixed using Tweak-UI, and if so - which version?
