There is a driverbuildin screen-capture-hotkey (Amigamerlin 3.1-R11):

The sceenies look the same as in the game (brightness and colors).

I have done some more benches:

Descent 3 @ 200MHz, 2xAA (I did the bench like described in 3dcenter.org): 51.71 fps

All benches are done on a Pentium III 850MHz, Win2k, 512MB RAM, 1024x768x16bit

omg @ 200Mhz the 4500 is very impressive with max FSAA Shocked

nice one there mate. hmm that screen capture key in't supported with the 3dfx tools for 98SE, the one I'm using now is from AmigaMerlin 2.9 for 98SE combined with 3dfx Voodoo4/5 V1.04.00 aka the latest Official 3dfx WHQL driver.

I used the AmigaMerlin 3dfx tools because it has much more usable settings for the 5000 AGP to make use of

still no Screen Capture key within it, that would be a nice fix for a newer 3dfx Tools control panel for 98SE people.

@st4r4m4m4: where did you get the bios? are they from the real 4800 with & without dvi or did you modify them by yourself?
inside the bios i read two different stings...the first says "Voodoo4 4500 BIOS - Version 1.15" & "Voodoo4 4800 with TV and LCD support BIOS - Version 1.11" in hex....in the string you can read in the postscreen the bios says "Voodoo4 4800 BIOS - Version 1.15" and "Voodoo4 4800 with TV and LCD support BIOS - Version 1.11"

so are they real or modded?

It's an aluminum cooler. The backside is cooled too. It looks gigantic. 2 PCI-Slots (under the AGP-Slot) can't be used anymore Even at 200MHz the card is cool. I think with a cooper cooler it will not be better.

It was just for testing. v5-128MB-200MHz-mod would be interesting now. But it's difficult (almost impossible) to get the right memory chips. Look at this topic: Regarding faster memory

so to do this it is only need to get 4 same type of ram then solder them on it and load new bios?
my V4 got toshibas F54044 mem
whoah I might do that for my V4, but it's my only one Undecided

so I doub could i risk it
does anybody know how to vmod V4?? Iwas thinking to do full scale modding for it ram, vmod, new cooling (if I only find suitable heatpipecooler Wink

) what else??
and V4 supports agp1.5v 4x speed so Ican use my asrock 775dual-vsta to build 3dfx gaming rig

well,

I checked and it has 8 chips with the following print:

SAMSUNG 118
K4S643232E-TC50

and I did already have my 5500 clocked at 183Mhz before, so ......one can only hope.

Have to check with someone if they can do the soldering for me, as I have neither the equipment not the experience to undertake such a thing.

The difference between 32 and 64MB should be dramatic there.
