Yeah, I saw this one.  I decided to leave it as I already have one of them loose. The thing is, I didn't realise I had one! ;D

I was checking through the cupboard the other day and remembered I bought a loose V1 from ebay last year for £0.01p.8)  Never bothered to check what type it was until last week.... turns out it's an Obsidian GE. :D

Hehe! ;D

I didn't know these cards were such a good find.  What is it, that is so special about these?

That would be a Mac Voodoo1 ;)

(Patience owns a Boxed one)

I think it should also work normally in a PC though, there it is a normal Voodoo1.
(I have no clue however, if one can simply use any PC Voodoo1 in a Mac in turn ??? )

What brand was it sold under? Do you have a pic of the boxed unit?

Yes Voodoo I's & II's in general from a Mac will work in a PC *IF* the card doesn't have a bios! I have a MacMagic 8 meg V1 that will not fire up in a PC and it has an on board bios chip as does a pair of Game Wizard 2's (although I have not tried the V2's, just noted the bios chips) A Techworks V1 works fine in a PC.
