Question about rare V2, have anyone seen one?

Back in the day... When I had a new Diamond V2 card... Diamond use to ship a flyer in the box advertising a second V2 board for use in SLI mode only... That had nothing on the backplate to save money! I'm pretty sure there was even a picture showing this card with no connectors.

Has anyone else seen this ad or one of the cards? I'll dig through my stuff later today to see if I still have the add but it's been years since I have run across it.

Yep, it was sold by Diamond under the label "Mega Monster".

One of it was sold by Sergei on EBay USA ~3 months ago.

But indeed, very hard to find one, and I don't know if those ever sold single at all.

From what I recall Falcon is correct... Wink

...REALLY can't remember WHERE I read about it (in a magazine somewhere...) but those 'extra' V2 cards from Diamond were sold as a pair with a 'standard' V2 ONLY! Roll Eyes
