Just a small but important Detail for anyone that already has or plans to build a functional Mirror of the 3dfx Archive :

Please be to kind to remove the following .htm Files from any live Mirror :
- impressum.htm (my Postal Address)
- contact.htm (my EMail Address)
- disclaimer.htm (an old - by now redundant requirement - of German telecommunication laws)

If those were to be maintained , I'd still be repeatedly contacted on 3dfx matters, worst-case when I'm since long in the retirement home already xD

Plus, I naturally take absolutely responsibility for any of the setup Mirrors, thus neither my postal Address or my EMail address shall be part of such Mirrors. Those Mirrors will be none of my business.
Feel free to admend/change the contact Information to reflect the actual Operator of the respective Mirror instead - or use blank pages (just to avoid 404 errors).

Should I find online Mirrors after Jul 2017 containing my Contact Info, I'd have to intervene due to legal and privacy reasons.
So please make sure these are removed or blanked with placeholder/empty content if you intend to run a live Mirror Smiley

Small update :

I've been notified that the 3dfx Archive on DVD still links all Download-Files to the online Server.
All 3 Batches that were sent out are affected, meaning when navigating to a File, you could only see the Filename (mouseover) but would have to manually grab it via a File Explorer to access it.

This has been fixed (at least for Windows Platforms, unsure about Linux/Mac due to Directory/File conventions) and I've released a tiny Patch to address this issue and updated the Main Posting.

Alright, a small 3rd Batch went out today.

So right now, I have no Addresses remaining to send anything to.
If you still haven't received anything ~14 days after I sent out the corresponding Batch, feel free to raise your hand.
(but so far, DHL Services never failed to deliver, so any delay is typically just that - a delay in Shipping)

You phrased it well with "Mission Accomplished".  The FalconFly website/forum has been the stomping grounds for many of us over the years.  Personally this was always my primary go to forum.

The wealth of knowledge shared/gained here is astonishing for many of us.  Dead cards were brought to life, crazy mods were done yielding some pretty awesome results, drivers being tested/tweaked and so on.

For many of us the collecting aspect played a big role.  The best way to get a lot of the things we wanted was from other collectors on these forums.  Seeing collections grow over the years was something great too, always seeing some prototypes and even an ordinary Voodoo 1.  As I look to my right I can say "Mission Accomplished" as well.  My goal was to get all the US "Voodoo face boxes".  I sure did that an snagged one hell of a virgin V56K along with some unpictured goodies.

...

So with all that being said I want to not only thank FalconFly, but also everyone that has participated in one of the most unique hobbies heard of.  I'm sure I'm not the only one that notices people have to double take and ask "You collect old computer parts?" HA! Grin GLHF

Cheers!

sorry to hear about this, but ofcourse understandable.

You did a great job keeping the site and archives up and running and updated over the years, this has always been my place to go if I needed anything 3DFX related....be it drivers or info.

I would love to get a copy of the files in the archive, I might host it somewhere in the foreseeable future......and ofcourse happy to pay postage for it.

If you let me know what postage would be to The Netherlands, I can send you that through paypal Smiley

sorry, my bad.....was a reply in thread Smiley I'll pm you details....if you pm your paypal account  for a nice donation Smiley
