Alright, everyone who asked for a DVD copy of the 3dfx Archive so far got it sent out today Smiley

As usual, allow for typical postal (DHL) delivery times.

Still possible get a DVD for me in the near future?
The reason why I haven't mail you with my address is that my address is going to change soon since I have to move to another location...

Sure, I'll still have the Files locally so you're in no hurry, nothing will be lost.
I can send out more DVD sets at anytime.

PS.
On the existing DVD Shipments :
- they're currently going out in air-cushioned Envelopes and "should" make the postal trip unharmed
(just the 2 DVDs in a single basic casing, so don't expect any bells & jingles Wink )
- in case they arrive damaged/in bad shape, please let me know

Although they're free of charge, should you wish to cover the cost, you can send a token of appreciation via PayPal (falconfly@ewetel.net)

Recieved the DVDs in order.

Martin, words cannot describe your gesture and my gratitude.

I've sent a modest sum for your trouble.

All the thanks in the world from Romania !

Waiting for mine. I'll probably end up hosting it myself once I get it.

Roughly based on previous experience, typical Shipment times :
Germany - 1-2 Days
Europe - 4-5 Days
USA - about 1-2 weeks

The postal office marked the US Envelopes as Air Mail, for what it's worth. With a bit of luck, the US shipments arrive quicker than i.e. Packages I've sent in the past (Ground Shipping of a Parcel took upto 4 weeks, if I remember correctly)

As more addresses come in for DVD Shipments, I plan to mail the 2nd batch sometime around late this week or early next week Smiley

I sent a message stating I would like a copy, but have not had any response yet.

I would also like to make a donation for all the years of your outstanding support and keeping 3DFX alive on this site.

Hm, rechecked everything and I didn't receive any PM nor EMail (?)
If you sent a Mail, please fire me a PM instead.

2nd batch isn't out yet, so I'll include you before sending it out if possible.

Oki, glad it arrived Smiley
As written, anyone is welcome to leave a Token of appreciation or cover the Shipping costs; PayPal address is posted in the Thread (costs for the DVDs are quite low, they're not expensive to send out, like 1-2 Euros max. each set international shipping)

sorry to hear about this, but ofcourse understandable.

You did a great job keeping the site and archives up and running and updated over the years, this has always been my place to go if I needed anything 3DFX related....be it drivers or info.

I would love to get a copy of the files in the archive, I might host it somewhere in the foreseeable future......and ofcourse happy to pay postage for it.

If you let me know what postage would be to The Netherlands, I can send you that through paypal Smiley

sorry, my bad.....was a reply in thread Smiley I'll pm you details....if you pm your paypal account  for a nice donation Smiley

You phrased it well with "Mission Accomplished".  The FalconFly website/forum has been the stomping grounds for many of us over the years.  Personally this was always my primary go to forum.

The wealth of knowledge shared/gained here is astonishing for many of us.  Dead cards were brought to life, crazy mods were done yielding some pretty awesome results, drivers being tested/tweaked and so on.

For many of us the collecting aspect played a big role.  The best way to get a lot of the things we wanted was from other collectors on these forums.  Seeing collections grow over the years was something great too, always seeing some prototypes and even an ordinary Voodoo 1.  As I look to my right I can say "Mission Accomplished" as well.  My goal was to get all the US "Voodoo face boxes".  I sure did that an snagged one hell of a virgin V56K along with some unpictured goodies.

...

So with all that being said I want to not only thank FalconFly, but also everyone that has participated in one of the most unique hobbies heard of.  I'm sure I'm not the only one that notices people have to double take and ask "You collect old computer parts?" HA! Grin GLHF

Cheers!
