what do you guys think about this? unfortunatey the ASUS board shown on the above mentioned link is only providing 1 ordinary pci slot, but hey may not that bad at all. as far as I understood the 'Hydra-SLI/CF' you are able to combine any 3d card. to be honest I'm not quite sure if that means combine any NVIDIA and ATI card or combine ANY any card :)

what I'm thinking of are 2 voodoo5 pci (MSI is providing two pci slots on their boards) or even better one voodoo5 'supported' by NVIDIA/ATI ??  :o
so I'm pretty sure there will be no support for win9x clear about that, but I guess winxp (together with amigamerlin3 r11 or something equal xp driver set) should be still supported and running a i7 using a voodoo5 and any current gc could that be the way to boost up the voodoo and especially glidegames to new spheres ???

or just didn't understand it right and worte just bullshit as usual :)

Old news, its interesting but plagued by driver related issue and performance scaling is questionable. Also there is one 5770 that is coming out that festures this chip along side with the gpu which for me looks like a worthy upgrade.
