Your board will run the V5 5500 just fine. If you really want a V6K and have the funds, I'm sure we could hook you up Grin

well if a 6K works in it surely a 5500 wil Wink

the EPoX EP-8K3A+ has the best experience with the 6K afaik, and if 6K people advise me that board, there wouldn't be an option for me to miss it out  Wink

1) 3.3 volt AGP support

2) Hardware monitoring *including* the AGP voltage.

3) Barton 3000+ support

4) Very stable and fast.

Nice lookin system gary, I finally got my xp 2500+ running in the 8k3a board, took some clocking but it made it, the board has some capacitors that were expanding a bit and at first it didnt want to power on at all, but im impressed wit this board you can check it out here.....

I took a punt on it the seller didnt know if the board worked or not and he threw in an xp 2100+ which also worked, so all in all a bargain board that will support my 3dfx cards. Grin

hmmm nice board indeed really stable and so on, and what it supports is amazing every Socket 462 CPU that exsists will operate in it even the AthlonMP 2800+!

I got mine for 25 Euro's total and for 43 Euro's inclusive shipping via Deutsche Post Express. But really you're gonna love that EPoX EP-8K3A+ Cheesy FLash it with the latest Bios and then mit will support up to AthlonMP Barton 2800+ / AthlonXP Barton 3000+ & Sempron 2800+ . all Durons will be supported al well as all AthlonXP-M & Athlon4  CPU's
