And can you test some games that require 64MB VRAM like NfS: Something ?
Would be cool to see the voodoo with such a game.

I tried Codename Panzers: Phase 2 with a Voodoo4.
The game requires 64MB, it does not run on a 32MB V4 but runs fine with a V4 modded to 64MB.

did u change all memory modules ?
and replace them with 5 ns ram from Kyro card ?
or only the 4 module ?

all 8 chips from the kyro2 are now on the voodoo  8)

I'll try "Codename: PANZERS - Phase Two"-Demo. But i must download it first.

Edit:
SFFT41-Driver was necessary for the Multiplayer-Demo:
with 64MB BIOS: http://mitglied.lycos.de/gtxe/v45k_64mb_mod/Screenshot_v45k_64mb_03.jpg
with 32MB BIOS: http://mitglied.lycos.de/gtxe/v45k_64mb_mod/Screenshot_v45k_64mb_04.jpg
so I think the momory is working correct.

Edit2:
here the benchmark-results...
Voodoo4 32MB 166MHz: http://mitglied.lycos.de/gtxe/v45k_64mb_mod/3dmark2001se_v45k_32mb.png
Voodoo4 64MB 166MHz: http://mitglied.lycos.de/gtxe/v45k_64mb_mod/3dmark2001se_v45k_64mb.png
Voodoo4 64MB 193MHz: http://mitglied.lycos.de/gtxe/v45k_64mb_mod/3dmark2001se_v45k_64mb_193mhz.png

Systemspecs:
MobileBarton@~2,1GHz
Epox 8k5a3+
1GB Memory
Win2kSP2
SFFT41-Driver

With P3 850MHz there were no differences in the bench-results.

Nice job gtxe !

anyway, did you try to change the orignial cooling ?
by using a god thermal paste ( like AS5 ), you sould be able to overclock the card up to 200 MHz.
It's only the VSA now witch  don't go further ...

Question: The evilking voodoo4 models are very bad for overclocking. Mines show already artifacts at 170MHz. Any hint ?

hm... it's not so easy to mod the cooling...
because of the nonstandard mounting holes.
So I need some tools I don't have Sad
Cooling the board on either side would be nice  8)

no way... there are artifacts already at 205MHz.
But 200MHz is stable for long time, even at 2xAA (no crashes, no artifacts).
