Hello!

Because I have plenty of old games which support only the Voodoo 1, I want to know if it is possible to use a Voodoo 5 5000 or a Voodooo 3 3000 together with a Voodoo1 Addon Card in one system or if there will be conflicts of any kind.

Can someone help me with some information about this?

I once tried that and yes I got lots of conflicts. They only worked together fine, with newer games that detected both of them (thus they have an internal tool for selecting multiple 3d adapters) and after moving the right 2x and 3x glide dlls the worked selectively. Too much trouble if you ask me. If you have a banshee, guillemot's glide swapper works fine with a voodoo 1 (it moves the right files under the windows/system folder), on demand, plus 3dcc works good with these 2. Even ogl swapper works.

p.s. to get rid of these kind of situations I built a dedicated voodoo 1 retro pc and play all dos-glide, glide 1x and older glide 2x games, there.

I have one RetroPC with a Voodoo5 5500 and one with 2 Voodoo2 SLI :-) Think I will have to built a third one :-)
