Ok guys, I bought this babe in a unknown condition and here's what I've found:

...

Is it safe to try to run it right now anyway?
How do you suggest to fix it in a way that won't harm to PCB etc? Should I contact some local "electronic" guy?

That is a simple fix I had to do it on my 8800gtx. You could very easily do it your self will little or no practice.

Agreed.  I am a novice, but those ones are easy.  A basic soddering kit and some good sodder will do the trick.   Wink
Luckily there are no other sodder points nearby.

FLux is also required, there are some good tutorials on youtube for soldering. Try not to overheat it in an effort to get the solder to contact properly.
