Anyone who ever bought a Voodoo5 5500 PCI, did you ever get a manual in the package??

Besides, manuals are only useful for mainboards and stuff like that, GFX card manuals are usually crappy! ;)

I know, it's just that I bought on off eBay.  It came with everything (driver cd, box, y-cable) except a manual!  :-[

So I looked at items that had been sold or were for sale in a similar package (comes with box, dirver cd etc) and NONE of them had manuals.

So I didn't know if 3dfx actually shipped that card with a manual or not??

NO Voodoo4/5 came with a printed manual. You'll find one the driver cd...there might be the message "only win 9x" or something that when you'll check out the cd..so check the cd out manually. you should find some useful html files which should answer some of your questions. but there's no printed manual for any Voodoo4/5.  :P

you're lucky then...normally you didn't get one when the voodoo4/5 was released.

always read in reviews (have in mind they all were german reviews, so maybe it depends on the country  ??? ) that there's no printed manual..who knows  :P

Ahh, who cares? If it aint what it's made about to be, I'll flog it on eBay.  By the rate they're going at, I'll easy make my money back + more!  8)

Also, from what I've seen on eBay, the majority of v5 AGP cards DO have a manual, whereas the v5 PCI DO NOT!!  :-/

bought a packaged one from a friend...there wasn't a manual..but everything else  8)
maybe you're right about your point according the PCI variation ;) but that wouldn't explain why i didn't get one.

if there's actually a manual for the voodoo5, i wonder where they all got in time...maybe to manual hell hehe  ;D

right, i mixed it up a little bit: some reviewers just claimed there was no useful manual (as i know it from the voodoo3  ;) )
so, i was wrong...sorry. just wanted to add that to stay correct.  ;D

OK, I'm having some PC trouble (Windows and I have never gotten along... pity most of my games don't work in Linux), and I'm going to have to reformat/reinstall. :P So it won't be untill next weekend.
