I have recently made a remake of what the 3dfx Voodoo 5 6000 would look like based on other Voodoo 5 products. I used a high gloss card stock. It's probably 99% accurate. It looks great!  8-)

There is the usual 3dfx plastic card holder inside the box to help keep the box rigid.

Is the box large enough for a V6K to fit in it?

technically yes, the box is big enough to hold my card.... barely.  But not all V5 6000's are as long as my card is.

Box inside diamensions: 37cm (l) x 7.5cm (d)x 24cm (h)
My V5 6000 diamensions: 34.5cm x 2cm x 13cm

Are you using an original box again??

For any V5 6000 box I make, I will have to sacrifice an original box.  It is unfortunate, but the original box fits perfectly.  Also, putting together pieces of cardboard to fit like an original box is way more difficult and tends to look sloppy, and is not as strong as an original box.

That is simply not true, the original box is made of cardboard as well. We have shops here in germany that sell all kinds of paper if you take your original box to them and show em what you need they will give you the exact material and all you would have to do is to fold and glue.

Please understand that I want to save as many original Boxes as possible  :'(
